Lifeguard
RNLI lifeguards must be vigilant to prevent incidents before they happen. They must be fit, and highly trained in rescue and first aid techniques. But more than that, they must be approachable, confident, proactive team players, who are able to interact with the public on a daily basis.
It’s a challenging but incredibly rewarding role - no 2 days on the beach are the same. Hear what some of our lifeguards have to say about the job:
Crew Member
Imagine for a moment that you’re part of the crew on a lifeboat. It’s 2.30am on a freezing January morning and the pager’s just woken you from a deep sleep in a snug warm bed. You then head out to sea in complete darkness and 10m waves rise and fall around you, ready to swamp you at any moment. Strong gale force winds throw the lifeboat around like a toy. A fishing trawler is in difficulties 23 miles out to sea.
ABOUT
RNLI ROBLOX was founded on the 25th July 2016 by Lukas_Smith, the group first operated at a beach in Cornwall called Porthcurno. the group was open for about 3 months before being closed again to reopen with a new map, the group reopened and operated at a newly updated version of Porthcurno. The group closed down for about half a year before it was reopened in December 2017, this time the group was based in Cromer, Norfolk and lasted around a month before the group closed down due to issues with the administrative team. In early August 2019 development started on a new map which was halted due to lack of developers. In May 2020 Lukas started development on the new map, a fictional town based in the South East of England for when the group reopens, the RNLI Lifeguarding team and RNLI Lifeboat crew will be reopening and operating.
